Escambia County Courthouse seen from afar
Built in 1887 with a Renaissance Revival architect style. The building was used for the Post Office, U.S. Customs, Internal Revenue Collector, offices of the Circuit and district courts, and the district attorney. By the 1930's the building had run down. It was taken over in 1940 by the county and then restored. Reader CommentsBank
